If you're walking or running more than you used to, you might be feeling some tension in your calves or Achilles tendons. In order to avoid injury, it's important to keep
them stretched out. Here's how to do it. On a small block or curb, place the ball of your foot
up with your heel on the ground. Hold that for a minute or two, then switch sides. It's as simple as that. You can do it practically anywhere, any time.
So take some time out of your day to give your calves a nice little stretch.
